Carlo Ancelotti: From Player to Manager
A Look at His Career
As a Player
Carlo Ancelotti was not the strongest or quickest player on the field, but he had a keen eye for the game and a talent for reading it from midfield. He played for several clubs in Italy, including Parma, Roma, and AC Milan, and was a key member of the Italian national team that won the 1982 FIFA World Cup.
As a Manager
After retiring from playing, Ancelotti began his managerial career in Italy. He led Parma to victory in the UEFA Cup in 1999 and AC Milan to two UEFA Champions League titles in 2003 and 2007. In 2013, he became the manager of Real Madrid and led the team to victory in the Champions League in 2014.
Current Role
Ancelotti is currently the manager of Everton in the English Premier League. He has led the team to several impressive results, including a victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup in 2023.
